A tribute packed night that recreates the energy of the film and all the infectiously catchy songs. The film released in 1978 was claimed as the best film of the year making celebrities of its cast, John Travolta who plays bad boy Danny and Olivia Newtown-John who plays girl next door Sandy, the pair hopelessly fall in love during the summer. The two young lovers return unknowingly to the same school where greaser Danny is the leader of the T Birds and Sandy befriends Rizzo, Frenchy and the rest of the Pink Ladies. Not the same boy Sandy fell in love with, Danny is always playing up to his boisterous T Bird posse un-impressing his summer love. After falling out the pair rekindle and attend the famous high school dance where it does not all go to plan with the appearance of an old fiery flame Cha Cha. The Grease crew all attend the school carnival where sandy has re-invented herself donning black leathers in order to impress and re-unite with her summer love.

A romantic love film of a privileged teenage girl “Baby” Jennifer Grey who rebels against her father by starting a romance with resort dance instructor “Johnny” played by Patrick Swayze as she fills in as his dance partner. Her father who learns of this relationship is disgraced and bans Baby from any further relations with Johnny and “those people”, however the two cannot be parted especially as “Baby” becomes wilful and adamant about her love for Johnny resulting in a family rift. The film comes to the infamous end of night performance where the two perform one of the most iconic scenes from the 1980’s that many others have reinacted all over the world!!
